Terms of Service

These terms apply to the BlastLock game for iOS and Android (the "Game"), developed by Matthew Productions ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. The App Store and Google Play terms of use also apply to your download.

Fair play

You agree not to:

copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the Game, except where the law allows it;
use cheats, hacks, automation or modified versions of the Game to change scores, leaderboards, achievements or purchases;
interfere with the Game's ads, purchases or the services it connects to;
use the Game in any unlawful way.

We may remove scores obtained unfairly where the leaderboard service allows it.

Remove Ads purchase

The Game is free to play. The optional Remove Ads purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that turns off ads in the Game. It is sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and their payment and refund rules apply. Refund requests are handled by the store you bought from. You can restore the purchase on another device signed in to the same store account using "Restore Purchases" in the Game's options.

The free version of the Game shows ads provided by Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for an in-game benefit such as a revive. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to. How ad data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

The Game uses Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, Apple iCloud, Google device backup, Google Firebase and Google AdMob. These services are provided by Apple and Google under their own terms and privacy policies, and may change or become unavailable outside our control.

Game progress and content

Your progress, unlocked characters and settings are stored on your device, and may be synced through iCloud on iOS or included in your Google device backup on Android. We do not run our own servers and cannot recover lost progress. Characters, items and scores have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.

We may update the Game, change or remove features, rebalance gameplay, or stop offering the Game at any time.

Intellectual property

The Game, its name, logo and code belong to Matthew Productions. Some art, music and sound are used under licence from their creators, who are listed in the Game's credits. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond playing the Game.

Disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of game progress or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you live in the EU or another country with mandatory consumer protection laws, you also keep the protection of those laws and may bring claims in your local courts.
