Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
BlastLock is a game developed by Matthew Productions for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data the game and the services built into it collect, why, and the choices you have. BlastLock has no user accounts, no chat and no user-generated content.
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played and to fix problems. It collects:
- Gameplay events such as levels played, scores, screens viewed and ads shown.
- Usage and diagnostics data such as session length, app version, device model, operating system and crashes.
- An app-instance identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address.
This data is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising
BlastLock is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS when you allow tracking, Advertising ID on Android), device and app information, ad interactions and approximate location from your IP address.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before ads are personalized, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice from the game's options.
- On iOS, personalized ads are only shown if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- You can reset or opt out of the advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.

Leaderboards and achievements
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your scores, achievements and player name are shared with that service so they can appear on leaderboards. These services are operated by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies.
Purchases
The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made.
Game progress
Your progress and settings are stored on your device. On iOS they are also synced through your Apple iCloud account, and on Android they may be included in your Google device backup. We do not run our own servers and do not have access to this data.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is only processed by the service providers named above (Google and Apple) to provide analytics, ads, leaderboards, purchases and backups.
Children
BlastLock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your choices and deletion
You can limit ad tracking in your device settings, change your consent choice in the game's options, and delete all local game data by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of analytics data associated with your device, email us and we will ask Google to remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
